Emily Zussman is the Manager of People and Special Projects for One Table in New York City. She grew up in Huntington Woods, MI, and graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Sociology and minors in Judaic Studies and Community Action and Social Change. She studied abroad at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Emily's formative Jewish experiences stem from an extensive background as a camper, counselor, and supervisor at Tamarack Camps. Her desire to pass along valuable Jewish experiences to the next generation also guided her to staff two UM Hillel Birthright trips. Emily served as a Graduate Student Representative on the Michigan Hillel Governing Board. She is passionate about building strong Jewish identities and communities. Emily's field placement was at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit primarily working in the NEXTGen department.
