Andrea Mora is a PhD candidate in the Joint Program in Social Work and Developmental Psychology. Her research interests include community violence exposure, sexual harassment, resilience, and psychological well-being among Latinx adolescents. She is most interested in examining family factors that can protect adolescents from the negative educational and psychological effects of violence exposure. Prior to attending graduate school, Andrea worked as a sexual assault crisis intervention counselor.
