He is currently a doctoral student in the School of Social Work concentrating in Social Work and Anthropology. His research interests include: the intersection of correctional facilities and the AIDS epidemic in the U.S. Policy development and practices enforced and produced by correctional and AIDS related institutions. Using ethnographic, qualitative data to develop health care support and possible intervention strategies.
