Through an interdisciplinary approach, this project seeks to explore the internal infrastructure needed in ESOs for their systems and structures to support inclusive entrepreneurship and prosperity. Specifically, the project will explore how ESOs can consider and integrate principles of trauma-informed care into internal systems and structures to provide more inclusive support to BIPOC entrepreneurs. The project team will focus their translational research within Michigan and partner with two SmartZones. SmartZones are regionally-based technology clusters designed to support a broad range of new and emerging businesses that integrate new technology in some manner.
