The University of Michigan's Jewish Communal Leadership Program (JCLP) offers a distinctive educational opportunity for emerging leaders committed to helping Jewish communities meet 21st-century challenges while also addressing broader social concerns.
The JCLP is a five-semester on-campus program conducted over 20 consecutive months:
Program Funding: Funding for 2021-2022 is to be determined. All applicants are encouraged to investigate and apply for the Wexner Graduate Fellowships and the JCC Association Graduate Scholarship Program. Merit awards and need based financial aid are also available.
We are currently accepting applications for the incoming Fall 2021 cohort. Materials and directions can be found here. Application deadlines: December 1, 2020 (early application), February 1, 2021 (priority), March 1, 2021. To guarantee full consideration, please apply by the December 1 deadline. Applications received after December 1 will be considered on a space-available basis.
When completing the MSW application, please answer "yes" to the question, "Do you plan to apply to an SSW Special Program?" found on the Financial Assistance page of the online application and then select the Jewish Communal Leadership Program checkbox. The JCLP application pages will be added to the end of your online MSW application.
