: FT Therapist for a position with our Intensive Home-Based Therapy Program.
Parkside Family Counseling, LLC is a public benefit agency located in Adrian, MI. Parkside provides an array of mental and behavioral health services for youth, adults, and families. Our services include Outpatient Therapy: addressing Mental Health, Trauma, and Substance Use; School-Based Therapy, and Intensive Home-Based Therapy. Parkside also provides assessment services, case management services, and community-based education and prevention programs. We are a fully accredited agency through the Council on Accreditation (COA). Parkside is also proud to provide clinical supervision and training to master level students and therapists with limited licenses as they set and achieve their career and credentialing goals.
We are interested in hiring therapists (LMSWs, LLMSWs, LPCs, or LLPCs) who have a passion for working with adolescents and their families through the Juvenile Justice System as well as families through the Child Welfare system; and are knowledgeable or have an interest in learning about treatment for individuals with goals for recovery from substance use. The full-time position will include training and supervision in both the Intensive Home-based Therapy model and Substance Use Disorder prevention and treatment. Our Intensive Home-based Therapy program, which provides services in the home and community, allows for the greatest amount of change in the shortest amount of time while keeping the child in their home. Therapists will be trained in the evidence-based model used in the delivery of these services. Therapists will collaborate with other providers and community supports. Candidate should work well as part of a team and be able to contribute to the excellence of all aspects of the programs.
Therapists who have obtained a substance use disorder credential (CAADC) or have an interest in obtaining a substance use credential will be given preference.

Required experience:
Clinical Social Work or Counseling Experience: 1 year minimum
Required education:
Master’s degree in social work or counseling with valid license
CAADC or Development Plan preferred
