The Ferris State University Social Work Department in Big Rapids Michigan invites applications for a tenure-track position. Teaching online and in-person in the MSW program with some BSW opportunities and in Big Rapids with some opportunity to teach in Traverse City or other sites, as needed. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. While supporting and encouraging research, Ferris State University is primarily a teaching university. We encourage candidates with substantial clinical and research experience who are interested in teaching and mentoring our next generation of social workers. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in teaching, the ability to work effectively with both faculty colleagues and diverse student populations, and participation in other department/college and University academic activities. The start date of this position is August 2025
