What would this job entail?
Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority is currently recruiting a full time Crisis Worker for
the Access team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed psychologist, licensed Master’s social
worker, licensed counselor, or be licensed in another related behavioral health field. This
individual will:
Complete emergency assessments and provide crisis stabilization services;
Complete assessment to determine service eligibility and assign a preliminary diagnosis
and level of care for developmental disability, mental illness, and substance abuse
disorder services.
The qualifications for this position are:
Graduation from an accredited Master's or PhD program in Psychology, Social Work,
Guidance and Counseling, or other related behavioral health field;
Licensed or certified by the State of Michigan in psychology (Limited Psychologist / LLP),
social work (Masters Social Worker / MSW), guidance and counseling (Licensed
Counselor / LPC), or other related behavioral health field;
Postgraduate work experience in the areas of severe and persistent mental illness,
serious emotional disturbance, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use.

The annualized salary for this position ranges from $66,417 (the starting annual salary) to
$85,761 (each based on a 37-1/2 hour work-week); the range is based on the number of years
of service with the agency.
