The event will involve watching a film that highlights innovative ways that tribes in the Pacific Northwest are addressing the impacts of the opioid crisis. The 60-minute film, Native Transformations in the Pacific Northwest: Stories of Strength in a Public Health Crisis, follows four individuals from three Tribes in the Pacific Northwest as they share their experiences of strength and resilience to overcome the impacts of the opioid crisis. After the screening, attendees will be invited to reflect and discuss the impressions, thoughts, and reactions to the film. Pizza will be provided.
