Desiree Messina, MSW ’20, is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health, specifically eating disorders and substance use. In 2020, Desiree founded her own private practice, Undefeated Counseling.
Desiree is an advocate in the field of eating disorders, working to improve and develop programs to specifically support athletes.
Desiree is a former collegiate lacrosse player, and has been an active lacrosse coach in the State of Michigan for the last 16 years. She combines her passion for athletics and mental health into her interpersonal work with athletes and clients.
