Rachel A. Amity

Rachel is a licensed social worker with the University of Michigan Athletic Counseling Team. Rachel joined the Athletic Counseling Team in 2018 as a graduate intern and has been with the team full-time since 2019. She is now also the Assistant Director of Athletes Connected, a program designed to reduce stigma and promote positive coping for athletes.

A native of Oregon, Rachel attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR where she completed a bachelor's degree in psychology, after which she moved to Ann Arbor, MI to receive her MSW from the University of Michigan.
