Nelly has experience treating most any client concern that is brought sex therapy. Nelly treats individuals, couples and families from age 13 to 83. Nelly's approach is strength-based, client-centered, systemically focused, eclectic in style and always practical. Nelly has been teaching sexual diversity at the graduate and post-grad level since 2007. Nelly is well known for creating systems and processes that can be applied to many client situations. Nelly is a published on author on the following topics: Sexual minorities, kinky individuals, kinky couples, consensual non-monogamy, sex therapy supervision and systems.
Nelly has been treating OCSB clients for 15 years and was on faculty at the AASECT Summer Institute on OCSB. In addition to AASECT Certification, Nelly is also WPATH Certified as a transgender therapist. Nelly is anti-racist and is the co-founder of Sexuality | Diversity Matters Supervision Scholarship Program, scholarship program for BIPOC who are seeking AASECT Certification. Nelly is currently Chair of AASECT Ethics Advisory Committee, and has been the Colorado Section Leader for AASECT since 2007.
