Marci Scalera is the Director of the Lenawee/Livingston/Washtenaw Substance Abuse Coordinating Agency. As part of the Washtenaw Community Health Organization, the Coordinating Agency is responsible for managing the treatment and prevention services for the three-county region. Marci is a pioneer in developing a Recovery-Oriented System of Care. She is a member of the Washtenaw Healthcare Initiative Substance Abuse Workgroup, the Juvenile Drug Court Policy Committee in Washtenaw and Livingston Counties, and charter member of the Michigan Department of Community Health, Substance Abuse Transformation Steering Committee. Her recent projects include a grant from the Michigan Department of Community Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse and Addiction Services to implement screening, intervention and referral to treatment in primary care.
