Assistant Clinical Professor Sue Ann Savas has received a grant from the Department of Justice-Byrne JAG program via the Michigan State Appellate Defender Office to develop, implement and evaluate the "Social Work Sentencing Project."

Diana Peloquin (SSW student) became the new champion on the TV quiz show "Jeopardy!" last night. She defeated 11-time champion Arthur Chu from Ohio.

ShariLynn Robinson-Lynk, LEO Adjunct Faculty and Assistant Director for Engaged Learning Partnerships at the Ginsberg Center will receive the Honorary Lavender Degree and deliver the keynote address at the Spectrum Center graduation ceremony. The Honorary Lavender Degree traditionally honors the work and commitment of an individual to the University of Michigan’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally and similarly-identified community.
