Associate Professors Shawna Lee and Andy Grogan-Kaylor had their article, “Spanking and adult mental health impairment: The case for the designation of spanking as an Adverse Childhood Experience” in a special issue of Child Abuse & Neglect on corporal punishment, which was published in September. Their research was featured in The Conversation article, “Why parents should never spank children.”
