Assistant Professor Desmond Patton was invited by the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research for a convening of experts to discuss the practices and strategies that foster the factors critical to young adult success. This convening is a part of a project funded by the Wallace Foundation called “A Framework for Developing Young Adult Success in the 21st Century.” The project examines how noncognitive factors shape college and career success and how these factors are developed in different stages and within various contexts of children's lives.
