I purchased and fully completed the Social Work Practice: Advocating Social Justice and Change on Coursera. How do I get credit for this course now that I'm pursuing the full Social Work Essentials Certificate through Canvas?

If a learner paid and fully completed Social Work Practice: Advocating Social Justice and Change on the Coursera website and then enrolls in the Social Work Essentials Certificate (SWEC) through the U-M School of Social Work they will not need to take this course as part of the SWEC. Learners will be prompted to upload their Social Work Practice: Advocating Social Justice and Change certificate from Coursera at the end of the SWEC certificate.

At the end of the Social Work Practice: Advocating Social Justice and Change course in Coursera, learners are provided with a discount code which can be applied to the SWEC Research Basics for Social Work Practice (507) course on UM's site to reduce the certificate cost by $49. Learners with questions can email [email protected].
