Nasreen R. Meah

Nasreen R. Meah, MSW ’11, LMSW, is a LEO lecturer at the School of Social Work. With a Master of Social Work specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Mental Health and Community Organizing, she integrates her diverse clinical and community-based experiences into her pedagogy. Meah is a psychotherapist in private practice. Her experience in the field of social work has been a deeply enriching blend of clinical practice, community work and teaching. Meah’s clinical experience spans various settings and age groups. She specializes in trauma-focused, family-centered, strengths-based, csolution-focused treatments, within a cognitive behavior therapy framework. Meah’s commitment to advocating for marginalized communities, providing culturally competent care and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment continues to drive her professional endeavors.
