Chin Hwa Dahlem

Chin Hwa (Gina) Dahlem is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Michigan School of Nursing. She received her PhD and her MS from University of Michigan and is a certified family nurse practitioner. Her clinical focus has been delivering primary care services for underinsured and uninsured populations of homeless patients at the Delonis Health Clinic and for inmates of the Department of Corrections. She currently teaches at the graduate level for Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner students. Her research interest is investigating how the patient-provider relationship, including communication, affects health and healthcare outcomes of patients in primary care and prenatal care settings.
