Marloe Esch (she/her), BSN, RN, OCN, CSC, is an oncology certified nurse with over 15 years of experience working with cancer populations in academic medical settings, including inpatient hematology/solid tumor and palliative care, hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT), gynecologic oncology, breast care nurse navigation, and as an ambulatory oncology infusion RN. She holds a certificate from the post-baccalaureate Sexual Health Certificate Program through the University of Michigan in both Sexuality Education and Sexuality Counseling and will graduate in May 2024 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) as an Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist through the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee College of Nursing.
Marloe has published scholarly works addressing issues pertaining to Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) survivorship and is a contributing author on the topic of sexuality and cancer for the national AYA publication Elephants and Tea. She has had the opportunity to present regionally and nationally on psychosocial and sexual health in cancer survivorship for the Young Survival Coalition, the Oncology Nursing Society, and Planned Parenthood of WI, among others. Marloe is Associate Editor of the Clinical Moment department with the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing and serves on the Board of Directors for The Scientific Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer. Informed by her own experience as a young adult cancer survivor, Marloe strives to shape the landscape of oncology survivorship care by facilitating person-centered empowerment, resilience, and growth.
