Angela Blood Starr is a Regional School Health Coordinator at Calhoun Intermediate School District with experience in providing instructional services to educators related to the fields of health education, physical education, and wellness. As a former physical education and health teacher, Angela gained experience in the classroom that continues to influence her work with others who support schools. Currently, Angela services a five-county region in the areas pertaining to the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) framework including wellness, health education, physical education, social and emotional learning, crisis intervention, the whole child, and trauma. As an iRest®️ Level I Teacher, Angela also provides training and support to educators experiencing compassion fatigue through self-care promotion and practice.
