Dr. Wood is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). He is a sex therapy supervisor and certified sex and relationship therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists. Dr. Wood received his PhD in Human Sexuality Education through Widener University in Chester, PA. In addition to his training in the clinical treatment of general psychological concerns, Dr. Wood is trained in the treatment of sexual problems and dysfunctions. He specializes in male sexual dysfunction, disability, chronic illness, spiritual abuse recovery, out of control sexual behavior, sexual identity, orientation, and relationship therapy.
Dr. Wood is an adjunct faculty member of Widener University and facilitates lectures, trainings and workshops through Jefferson, Temple, and Penn Universities in Pennsylvania. He has presented on relationship and sexual topics on both a state and national level and has been recognized for his contributions to the field of sexuality. He has also done extensive work in community sexual health, as well as residential treatment for delinquent and displaced youths in the city of Philadelphia. He is passionate about social justice and respecting the dignity of every individual.
