Nisha McKenzie is a certified Physician Assistant, ISSWSH Fellow, and AASECT certified sexuality counselor. Since 2002 she has dedicated her career to women's health specializing in gynecology, further specializing in female sexual medicine since 2011. She has completed postgraduate training through the Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan in both sexuality counseling and sexuality education.
Nisha is Founder and Director of the Center for Women's Sexual Health where she practices as PA and sexuality counselor focusing on such things as sexuality after cancer, sexual pain disorders, and sex after menopause. She utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to address female sexuality, regularly teaching this approach to OB/GYN and Family Practice residents. In addition, Nisha serves as Affiliate Clinical Faculty at Grand Valley State University in the Physician Assistant Program allowing her to encourage new providers to incorporate sexual health into general health. She also helps direct the Great Lakes Sexual Health Alliance to bring comprehensive sexual health education to medical and mental health professionals.
