Jeff Weiferich

Jeff has over 20 years of experience serving the treatment needs of substance-involved individuals in various behavioral healthcare settings. In his current role as manager of the Treatment Section of the State of Michigan's Bureau of Substance Abuse and Addiction Services, he provides guidance and oversight to the State's public sector network of substance abuse treatment providers. With his unique, statewide perspective, Jeff has provided advisement to confirm that the U-M Addictions Certificate Program's curriculum content includes those areas of knowledge and skill necessary to competently serve the treatment needs encountered in public sector service provider settings.
