Carolyn Hartford

Carol holds an MSW from EMU and has a wealth of experience delivering services to individuals struggling with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders. She is the original co-founder of the Ann Arbor Dialectical Behavior Therapy Center and has also trained clinicians in DBT therapy at the local, state and national level. Carol is specifically trained in DBT for Substance Use Disorders. She was a co-occurring therapist with Washtenaw County Community Mental Health from 2001 to 2010 as well as having other clinical positions related to the delivery of substance abuse and mental health services.
