Loan Forgiveness Information Session

Come learn about the variety of MI and Federal loan forgiveness programs that are out there for social work graduates!
Our presenters are:
Paige Recker, Access to Care Manager for the Michigan Center for Rural Health
Paige Recker is the Access to Care Manager for the Michigan Center for Rural Health, the State Office of Rural Health for Michigan. Paige provides assistance in the areas of workforce development, telehealth, and behavioral health. She promotes the federal and state loan repayment programs and brings awareness about working in rural to college students and health professionals. Paige also collaborates with various organizations to expand upon telehealth and behavioral health resources for rural Michigan residents.

The CASC Info Session provides an opportunity to learn more about the minor, its requirements, course offerings, the MSW preferred admissions program and other ways to get involved in programs, events, and other experiences in the minor. We invite you to join us for a virtual presentation.

Global Social Work Poster Fair

Are you curious about what global opportunities for MSW students look like in action? Join us in the Atrium with second-year students who participated in a global social work field placement or a Global Independent Study experience this summer. Students will be showcasing posters about their work and discussing their summer experiences with students, staff, and faculty.
While you browse the poster presentations, we invite you to enjoy some Washtenaw Dairy ice cream, provided by the OGA!

Tips for Successful Graduate School Writing

Join Betsy Williams, Writing Skills Coordinator, and Darlene Nichols, Social Work Librarian, for an overview of expectations and resources for graduate-level academic writing and library research.
Short presentations will leave plenty of time for your questions.
All MSW students are welcome to join us.
