In the first coffee hour of the Fall 2021, We will announce our SSW International cohorts' online communication groups.
Besides that, we welcome all of you to come and share your thoughts about topics for our future sessions.

Community Conversation - Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15, 2021 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm
We invite you to a community conversation about “What does Latinx identity mean to you”. We invite you to an open conversation as we kick start Hispanic Heritage Month. We will be partnering with the Latnix group to carry out this discussion. This is a time for conversation - ask questions, raise concerns, and talk together as a school community. To aid the conversation, space will be limited. (We know it's coming up soon, so if you miss it, don't fear! If there is a lot of interest in this topic, we can hold another session soon.)
About the format. A few students and faculty have decided to try something different - smaller community conversations. Our hope is that this can take topics that lend themselves better to verbal dialogue off of email and into a face-to-face (or screen-to-screen!) environment. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.
The zoom link will be sent out the day of the event.

Field Placement Verification Due

All students currently enrolled in field (SW515 or SW691) must turn in the Field Placement Verification form by this deadline. This form is considered complete after your Field Instructor signs off on it.
This form only applies to students currently registered for field.
