  3. Reexamination of 'Korean Bullying' using Big Data Analysis and Cross-Comparative Research Reexamination of 'Korean Bullying' using Big Data Analysis and Cross-Comparative Research

    Yoonsun Han, ( '12 PhD) is an Assistant Professor at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea. Her interests are in child and adolescent development, and advanced quantitative methods. She has particular interests in antisocial behavior among children and adolescents.  Professor Han is a graduate of the Joint Doctoral Program in Social Work and Sociology.

    Professor Han will give an overall introduction of the 3-year research project that she leads on bullying. She will share some primary findings from analyzing social big data that her research team has found during the second year of her project.

  6. Final Field Educational Agreement Due

    August 13, 2018 - 5:00pm

    For all students currently enrolled in field, the Final Educational Agreement is due to the Office of Field Instruction.

    The Educational Agreement is not considered complete until the student completes and submits their End of Term (Tab 3), and the Field Instructor rates the student's Practice Behaviors in Assignments (Tab 2) and completes and approves Tab 3.  OFI recommends that the student submits their End of Term information (including their Key Learning Experience) to their Field Instructor at least one week before thedue date to allow the Field Instructor time to review and complete their steps.

  8. Course grades due (or 72 hours after exam, whichever comes first)

    Please note that this event is held at Michigan Hillel (address below). On-street parking is available across Hill Street on Lincoln Ave and Olivia Ave. The Forest Avenue Parking Structure (650 S Forest Ave) is the closest parking garage.

  10. Fall 2018 SSW International Student Orientation

    August 27, 2018 - 9:30am to 4:00pm

    This Fall 2018 SSW International Student Orientation session will provide information for incoming MSW international students. Lunch will be provided.

    Please note that all incoming MSW students are expected to attend Fall SEED Orientation, which is scheduled for August 28 - 31.

    Mandatory Check-In Information

    The Mandatory International Center check-in will be a part of the International Student Orientation session and the following items are required to complete your check-in.

    You must bring the original and a photocopy (make the copies after you have entered the U.S.) of the following documents:

    Passport (picture page and current U.S. visa page)

    I-20 (page 1) or DS-2019 (page 1)

    Form I-94
