2021 PEG Michigan Association for Evaluation Workshop
May 6, 2021 to May 7, 2021
The Michigan Association for Evaluation is thrilled to announce Dr. Dominica McBride as the keynote speaker for the 2021 virtual conference. The theme for this year's conference is The Promise of Equitable Evaluation: A Journey From Theory to Practice.
Dr. Dominica McBride is a leading thinker on how we evolve beyond the current racial-equity paradigm, a champion of Culturally Responsive Evaluation, and a grassroots advocacy strategist.
Culturally responsive evaluation has evolved and the situation today requires a direct action approach with the communities we engage with. We need a liberated consciousness and the actions that come out of that consciousness to confront these times. How can we shape our inner and collective consciousness to create structural transformation? This talk is going to be about what that looks like. It'll be engaging with exercises to get us in that reflective mode and ready to be leaders in the transformation that could take place right now.
