Social Workers and Court Workshop
March 26, 2020 - 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM ET
CancelledDo you know what to do if you have to testify in court? Are you prepared? Do you know what to say? What not to say? Going to court for the first time is always “a learning experience.” You rarely have a second chance to make a first impression. Here is your opportunity to get it right the first time. Learn from an MSW (Jud Morris, U-M SSW ’71) with several court appearances.
Blue Jeans is available for this event. Please RSVP to receive the call-in information.

Virtual Conversation on Stigma During COVID-19
March 26, 2020 - 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET
The School's Faculty Allies for Diversity (FAD) Committee in collaboration with the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity (DEI) invites you to a social support virtual conversation (students, faculty and staff) among those individuals wishing to prevent and stop stigmatization of and hostility against vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 epidemic. The March 26 conversation will add a focus on compassion fatigue, a state of mental health often experienced by those on the front lines fighting against disease and social disparities..
Please join:
Faculty Allies Co-Chairs Rogério Pinto and Addie Weaver
DEI Director Larry Gant
Faculty Allies members: Trina Shanks, Todd Herrenkohl, David Córdova and Lorraine Gutiérrez
We look forward to having a robust discussion.
