Flash Mob for Social Change

Clinical Associate Professor Abigail Eiler is coordinating a flash mob to dance to a brief clip from Common’s song “Glory,” which was used in the film “Selma.” “Social change happens in many different forums,” says Eiler. “Art is a way to embrace different methods and encourage wide participation.” To participate, please watch this video of the dance moves and send Eiler an email to be put on the mailing list.

Grief Counseling Principles and Practice
January 16, 2020 - 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM ET
This course is designed to deepen knowledge and skills in grief counseling to work effectively with a diverse range of bereaved individuals. Theoretical underpinnings of grief and loss counseling and contexts in which counseling may occur will be explored. Developing specific grief assessment and intervention skills applicable to a range of clients across the lifespan and different types of loss will be the focus of the course.
