Dean Search Presentation - Candidate B
January 26, 2016 - 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM ET
The candidates for Dean will be giving public presentations when they are on campus for the second round of interviews. Each of the presentations will take place in the ECC from 4 to 5:30 PM and will be followed by an informal reception.
The dates of these public presentations are:
Candidate A: Thursday, 1/21
Candidate B: Tuesday, 1/26
Candidate C: Thursday, 1/28
Arrangements are also underway for a fourth candidate to visit the campus in early February.
Information about each candidate will be sent out approximately 2 days before their visit. The public presentations will not be live-streamed, but videos of each will be available after the presentation for faculty members, staff, and students who are unable to attend the sessions.

The Policing of Identity - The Checkered Past of the ID

In this event, we will be having a guest speaker present on the history of the IDs .
Some of the topics and themes discussed will be in realtion to the ID, which include:
Gender variance
Overview of the local IDs
Racialization of the ID Cards
Politics of the photo ID
Geneology of the ID card
Access and exclusion
Snacks and Refreshments will be provided
