We invite you to a Community Conversation around Self-Care.
Among healthcare, mental health practitioners and those who work in behavioral health fields, self-care is a buzzword used by many; however when asked to speak to what it means and how it is practised, you get varied responses. Self-care can look and mean many different things depending on the person, their needs, and their circumstances. It’s not one-size-fits-all.
This is a time for conversation – to share feelings, raise concerns, and talk together as a school community.
About the format. With these smaller Community Conversations, our hope is to explore restorative dialogue and build community, creating a space where we are all teachers and learners. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.
