MLK Symposium Virtual Kick-Off: Racial Trauma, Neurons, and EMDR: The Path Towards an Anti-Racist Psychotherapy

to

David Archer, MSW, MFT, Psychotherapist and the Allied Health Sciences MLK Symposium 2024 keynote speaker, will discuss the connections between psychology, sociology, and neuroscience to confront systemic racism and racial trauma in clinical settings.

As future clinical practitioners, Allied Health students have a choice: perpetuate systemic inequalities or dismantle them. This presentation aims not just to inform but to equip students with a comprehensive framework that challenges the status quo, urging them to be agents of meaningful change in healthcare paradigms.

This event will be held on Zoom. A link to the meeting will be sent to you before the event.
