This course is the fourth session in a webinar series - The Nuts and Bolts of Evaluation for Community Organizations. Each session focuses on a practical aspect of conducting evaluation in community-based organizations. This session will focus on designing and implementing surveys, a data collection method used frequently by many organizations.

Learning Objective

  1. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of surveys.
  2. Identify the survey population and appropriate sample.
  3. List common mistakes in survey questions.
  4. Describe how to test and revise a survey.
