The University of Michigan School of Social Work's Learning Community on Poverty and Inequality (LCPI) and the Center on Assets, Education, and Inclusion (AEDI) are pleased to invite Cliff Rosenthal on Friday, April 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to discuss his new book, Democratizing Finance. Cliff is visiting the School of Social Work to discuss this important writing and his work in the credit union movement. As part of this work, Cliff helped found the US Department of Treasury's Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and Inclusiv (the national network of community development credit unions [CDCUs]), and he served as a lead administrator at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
Panelists will reflect on Cliff's remarks and discuss their own leadership and expertise on finance and community development. The audience is invited to participate in Questions & Answers with Cliff and panelists.
