This 3-term practicum offers students the opportunity to initiate or engage in a research project or service program of relevance to integrated health and social work. Classroom modules will introduce students to the essential skills needed to develop supportive care programs, establish appropriate research designs, and effectively collect, evaluate, and analyze data. Students will develop a working knowledge of psychosocial research and program development, and apply that knowledge as they work directly with social workers involved in program development, implementation, evaluation, and/or research.
