Beth Hirschfelder Wilensky is a clinical assistant professor in the Legal Practice Program. She earned her BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. Professor Wilensky earned her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and served as articles editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. While in law school, she worked as a teaching fellow at Harvard College, and was among the top 15 percent of teaching fellows recognized with the Harvard University Certificate of Distinction in Teaching. Prior to joining the Michigan Law faculty, she practiced law for five years in the litigation section at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Washington, D.C.
