Dr. Jean Malouin has been a faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan since 1994. She served as Associate Chair for Clinical Programs in Family Medicine from 2002-2013, and currently holds the position of Associate Medical Director for the Faculty Group Practice at the University of Michigan. She maintains her clinical practice at Briarwood Family Medicine in Ann Arbor, where she served as Medical Director from 1996-2008. She is currently serving as Medical Director and Co-Project Lead for the Michigan Primary Care Transformation Project, a state-wide Michigan multi-payer PMCH pilot project involving over 400 PCMH-designated practices and 350 care managers. In 2012, she also began a part-time position with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as a Medical Director with the Value Partnerships group, and developed a Care Management Resource Center for Physician Organizations state-wide. Dr. Malouin received her medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1991, where she also completed a Master of Public Health degree in Health Management and Policy in 2000.
