Glynis Anderson, MSW, CACII, is the founder and executive director of Home of New Vision, a nonprofit agency that provides transitional living and outpatient chemical dependency treatment for women in recovery located in Ann Arbor. Ms. Anderson is also a part-time lecturer at Eastern Michigan University (EMU) School of Social Work. Ms. Anderson is a Certified Addictions Counselor II and has been working in the field of chemical dependency since 1997. A recent recipient of the Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award at EMU's College of Health and Human Services, she is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. In addition to these accomplishments, she actively works in her community for social change by participating in committees, task forces, and executive boards.
