JCLP Community Welcome Breakfast
The Jewish Communal Leadership Program (JCLP) is set to welcome its newest cohort, the Class of 2028, to the Ann Arbor Jewish community. This year, four incoming students will bring new diverse perspectives and experiences to JCLP and to the broader community. As usual, JCLP will be kicking off the new academic year by hosting its annual Community Welcome Breakfast. Table conversations facilitated by JCLP students offer community members and university staff and faculty an opportunity to connect with new and returning students and with each other.

Alicia Jo Rabins Concert & Reading
Join us for an evening with Alicia Jo Rabins in Ann Arbor, featuring a concert and book reading. Experience her unique blend of music and literature as she shares selections from her work and performs live. This special event is organized by the Jewish Communal Leadership Program Class of 2026 cohort as part of their graduation requirements, and is sponsored by the University of Michigan School of Social Work. All are welcome!
Women’s Liberation at the University of Michigan, 1968-72
On Wednesday evening, November 12, 2025, the University of Michigan's Inclusive History Project (IHP) and Jewish Communal Leadership Program (JCLP) will sponsor a panel on “Women’s Liberation at the University of Michigan, 1968-1972: Jewish and Other Identities in the Emergence of a Movement.” This program will feature a conversation with pioneering activists Gayle Rubin, Rayna Rapp, Ellen Meeropol, Beth Schneider, and Joanne Parrent as part of the IHP Project, "Outsiders, Insiders, Radicals, and Reformers: A History of Jews at the University of Michigan".
JCLP Sukkot Open House
The Jewish Communal Leadership Program invites you to join JCLP for our annual Sukkot Open House in the SSW courtyard on Wednesday evening, October 8, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00, with an informal welcome at 5:45 pm. All are welcome – no prior knowledge of Judaism or Jewish holidays required.
