Join us for a breakfast conversation with Aziz Abu Sarah, Palestinian peace activist, educator, and co-author of the book The Future is Peace.

When Aziz was ten years old, his 19-year-old brother, Tayseer, was killed by the Israeli army. After struggling with a desire for revenge, Aziz chose to dedicate his life to justice, peace, and equality in a world torn by war and conflict. For over two decades, Aziz has worked with Palestinians and Israelis towards a shared future, most recently with Israeli peace activist Maoz Inon, with whom he co-authored The Future Is Peace. Together, they confront competing narratives and explore how compassion, shared humanity, and nonviolent activism can help create a different future.

Come listen and learn from Aziz as he shares his personal story, his current work towards freedom and equality, and his perspectives on how Americans can support a just and equitable peace.

Vegetarian breakfast from Panera will be provided.
