As a part of the field application process, the Office of Field Education will be posting an informational video regarding Hospital/Healthcare-Based Placements by mid-April 2026. This video must be viewed before the Q&A Session mentioned below. Information regarding medical vs. psychiatry placements, macro placements, student-training programs, and specific application processes for individual healthcare systems will be discussed in this video. The Office of Field Education will host an optional Hospital/Healthcare-Based Placement Q&A Virtual Session for Incoming Fall 2026 MSW Students that are considering hospital/healthcare-based placements for Fall 2026 on Thursday, April 30, 2025 from 5p-6p (EST). This Q&A session will focus on answering questions regarding the requirements for hospital and healthcare placements and other important considerations as students prioritize placement interests.
