Join us for an information session to learn about the Winter 2027 term Global Course Extension based in Cuernavaca, Mexico!

Students must submit their Placement Verification Forms by Tuesday 9/15/26.

This allows sufficient time for field instructors/task supervisors to make edits and/or approve PVFs by Tuesday 9/22/26.

This is a requirement to pass SW515/ SW691.

Before the Crash Out: Comedy, Conversation & Community

Laughter is medicine. Join us for an evening of stand-up comedy paired with honest conversation about mental wellness and healing in our communities.

Hosted by Horace "HB" Sanders and featuring comedians Mike Bonner and Mic Larry, this Comedy Edition of Before the Crash Out brings people together to talk openly about mental health in a space built for joy, not stigma.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Undoing Racism Workgroup

Undoing Racism is a community collective of students, staff, and faculty in the School of Social Work dedicated to fighting white supremacy at individual, school, and structural levels. This workgroup was established in 2019 after the community took part in the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond Undoing Racism workshops and builds on their anti-racist community organizing model. No matter what role you play here at SSW, you are always welcome to come to Undoing Racism meetings. 

This event will be held virtually over Zoom!
