Join Katie Edwards, PhD, and community partner Ramona “Mona” Herrington for a conversation on centering Indigenous leadership in culturally grounded violence-prevention and positive youth-development programs. Drawing on community-based participatory action research and extensive community advocacy, the speakers will share lessons from developing and evaluating programs with Indigenous youth and communities. Together, they will highlight how authentic partnerships, cultural values, and youth and community leadership can help create safer, more equitable, and more inclusive communities.
