Join us for our January Coffee Hour, hosted by the Flourish Office in collaboration with the Office of Global Activities! Social work students, faculty, and staff are invited to relax, connect, and build community over coffee, tea, and snacks. This month, we’ll spark conversation around international social work with some guiding questions and friendly discussion.

Personal storytelling has always been a critical tool in our fight for LGBTQ+ equality, whether talking to family members, classmates, co-workers, or elected officials. Now more than ever, we need to refocus on the basics of telling our stories in ways that bridge misunderstanding and help to shift the narrative about who we are. This training does just that. Voices for Equality is a 1.5-hour, in-person workshop that empowers LGBTQ+ advocates and allies to change hearts and minds through the power of personal storytelling. This training connects lived experiences to a broader movement for
