Fall 2026 SSW International Student Orientation
Fall 2026 SSW International Student Orientation will be held on Monday, August 31 (room TBD) and will provide information for incoming MSW international students. At this time, we are planning for an in-person orientation to be held at the U-M School of Social Work. Lunch will be provided.
Please note that all incoming MSW students are expected to attend Fall SEED Orientation. Various sessions will be held each day on September 1, 2, and 3.
Self-Care for Social Workers Workshop
Self-care is a professional and ethical obligation for social workers. What does it look like to engage in regular, intentional, effective self-care? In this 60-minute workshop, we will explore what self-care looks like in practice and share specific strategies to manage stress and improve well-being. Students who attend this session may count this workshop as field hours with approval from their field instructor. Interested students can sign up for the workshop at the links below and will receive a zoom invite the day of the event
