This course presents advanced topics in macro social work practice. The topics may include emerging macro practice issues and advanced application of specific methods.
This mini-course, taught over two days, will focus on specific knowledge that nonprofit fundraisers need to help attract individual donor gifts to support charitable organizations. These two days will focus on institutional capacity to raise funds and practical knowledge about individual major gifts and planned giving. Students should have a better understanding of the knowledge and skills required to generate individual financial support for important causes. Special event fundraising, government grants and private foundation fundraising will be not covered in this course.
