Global Course Extension in South Africa Information Session

Join us for an information session to learn about the Spring/Summer 2027 term Global Course Extension based in Cape Town, South Africa!

This program is led by U-M SSW faculty members and accepted students earn elective MSW credit. This Spring/Summer course will involve travel to South Africa in August 2027. Read more about Global Course Extension model on the Office of Global Activities website.

The information session will cover the course topics and themes, travel and itinerary basics, and the application process for each of these trips. The session includes time for Q&A.

This course will take place in person and online via Zoom. All registrants will receive a Zoom link the day of the event. A recording will be provided to all registrants the week following the information session.
