Community Conversation on Guaranteed Income on Monday, August 3 at noon EST
From Bernie Sanders to Elon Musk, influential people are raising a crucial question: As technology rapidly reshapes the job market, will governments need to implement a guaranteed income for all citizens?
While pilot programs are popping up nationwide to test the concept, guaranteed income remains a fiercely debated topic. Advocates point to reduced poverty and greater stability, while critics raise concerns about financial feasibility and work motivation.
Join us for an open discussion on the potential benefits, challenges, and future of guaranteed income. All perspectives are welcome!

Join us as we practice curiosity, challenge assumptions, and grow together in community.

This is a time for conversation – to share feelings, raise concerns, and talk together as a school community. To aid the conversation, space will be limited.

About Community Conversations.  Community Conversations can be called by anyone in our community. They are designed to help us come together to talk about things that matter. They invite us to consider different perspectives and ideas - even when we disagree. We try to keep them small, since our hope is to explore restorative dialogue and build community, creating a space where we are all teachers and learners. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.

After registering, you will be added to a calendar invite and Zoom link
